About The 101st Airborne Airsoft Team:

The 101st is an Airsoft team headquartered out Xenia/Kettering Ohio and is commanded by the team founder Adam Bowersock, codename Secretagentman and rank CAPT.

Adam has always had a fond affection towards the past and more importantly his grandfather, and in his own words he explains why he chose this particular unit for the team:

"I chose the name 101st Airborne G Company because of my grandfather James H.(PeeWee) Martin. He was one of the very first 101st G Co. paratroopers. He jumped into Normandy on D-Day and made many jumps all over Europe after that. He was in the town of Bastogne defending it in the dead cold of winter. He came home from WWII and is a man I have looked up to all my life. It is in his honor that I use this team name. Though I realize I will never be as brave and probably never fight as hard as he and the other men did during WWII, it's something I aspire to."

Airsoft guns are 100% scale replicas of real pistols, rifles, and machine guns that fire plastic BB's. Most Airsoft pistols have slide blow back action that gives them a realistic feel of recoil and real pistol action. Airsoft guns are used all over the world for target shooting, firearms training instructors, class III-weapons enthusiasts, motion-picture studios, and most commonly, for tactical and military simulation war games. We commonly refer to these games as Airsoft games.
